As biodynamic growers, we strive to become an ever more self-sufficient ‘farm organism’. At Remembrance Farm we steward a herd of about 30 cows of diverse breeds including Ayrshire, Jersey, and Shorthorn cattle.
In partnership with the cow, through composting and intensive rotational grazing, the land is transformed into fertile ground for the cultivation of vegetable crops which are at the heart of our work.
Another by-product of their synergy with the land is rich, creamline milk. The miracle of the cow’s digestive process transforms their 100% grass diet into rich nourishment which we then offer to our community in the form of Raw Milk, Pasteurized Milk, Yogurt, and Cheese.
